Do you use shareapic on your site? I can't see any blog/site using shareapic. Please let me know if I'm the only one using it.

I use it. Not on my site, but just to share photos around forums/social networking sites.

Might start using it on a site someday.

I don't see tinypic paying me to share photos... so for that reason i'm going to say shareapic is better.

Twistedspikes is right, shareapic is not your-ordinary-image-upload-site.

exactly on both counts - same here.

If I had a site that got boatloads of traffic I'd def use it, but right now that does not apply to me.

One thing I really like is the code that it gives you, clickable thumbs for mysp & forums

I also use Photrade but I had it shelved for a LONG time since it took them forever and a day to hash out their "pay per view" program.

Yes, I am using Shareapic but only have USD $0.064 in my account. Maybe I am not really active into sharing pictures. :(

yeah, you've got to put some time into it. browsing their forum, it seemed like a a lot of people had wallpaper sites and such.

me, I just have a ton of images that I took myself so I just upload and view! (big hint: you can view your own pics once a day)

I've made something like $150 in 4 months

Think i've got about $6 in it so far...not much, but then again its probably more than i'd get from using any other photo hosing company (tinypic, imageshack, etc).
I'm trying to think of a decent site I could make and use this on. At the moment I have a myspace resource site, I suppose I could add a myspace graphics section to that and use it there...*ponders*

exactly! while there may be 100's? of image sharing sites...how many actually pay you? a handful? less?

then there's places like photobucket with ANNOYING bw limits.

SaP does not have any limitations like that. That in and of itself is a big + in my book.

Shareapic also doesn't have any upload limit (pic size or number of pics), so i'd say thats a major + too

I have never tried them, but do you only get money when they click the image? Or is just displaying it on a page going to make you money?
I think the later would be wrong, but just checking.

    It's a very stupid system. I don't recommend it.

I get two complaints from people visiting my site (1) Shareapic has popups and I've people saying their anti-spyware, firewall and anti-virus protection goes crazy when they click on shareapic images (2) It takes an awful lot of time for the pics to load. So I'm just thinking better use other pic host because its not worth losing people comming to my site for a few cents.

only when they click...yeah, I agree with you but that's the deal.

    nice intellignent response

it depends who is using it and what they are using it for. I would have to argue with you that it isn't "stupid" based on it having made me nearing $150 now!

$150 MORE than imageshack, photobucket, tinypic, photrade, flickr, and any of the other 666 image sites would have made me....in fact only photrade has made me $ for people viewing my pics, but so far maybe only $5

well, pop-ups are a PITA no question but it pays their bills and in turn pays the user ;)

    1) tell your visitors to get a real browser that blocks pu's automatically :D
    2) their servers are way overworked, nothing could be truer in that regard. At times they completely flake and I am unable to load anything for hours on end

SO, for the SERIOUS web person (again depending on the type of site you run), it might not be a good fit just for those 2 reasons alone.

I actually had 1 person (DP's own Buffalo), she said my SaP images crashed her IE every time! Of course I told her to get a real browser, FF :-D

I've had another person who can't get the images to load for them @ all...not sure what issues specifically he has...he might not be tech savvy in the first place for all I know.
