Does anyone here use AVN Ads?

    I have a semi-adult site so AdSense is not an option. I tried Clicksor and XXXWebTraffic but they performed very poorly (like 3 cents a day). I get about 1000 visits / 100,000 page views per day.

    I signed up for AVN Ads yesterday and started sending them about 30% of my traffic for a test run. So far I'm getting an eCPM of about $0.03.

    For those of you who use it / have used it, is this typical or can I expect this to improve over time.

    Is there anything better out there.

    for cpm ads,pick the right size.the 468 will be the lowest paying.
    the cpm will go up depending on your ctr.
    advertisers can see the ctr of their ad on your site.they can choose not to have their ad on your site or they can raise the max cpm for your site.

    the rates are not as high as mainstream ads.one factor is there are not as many advertisers.
    i do .07-.10 for 468 and over .20 for 300x250

    having a zone with text only and inline ads pays a lot more.

    I'll definetely try a text only zone. If I can get $0.10 CPM or better overall I'll be happy.

    that seems like allot of page views for that amount of visitors. Adbrite does improve as you get advertisers and more traffic.

    Yeah, I'm seeing slight improvement already (just one day).

    So far I have:

    0.047 For 468
    0.062 For 160/600
    0.158 For 300/250

    I did setup a text only zone and have 3,000 impressions but 0 money yet. I guess I'll let it run for another day or so and see.
