I have came across this site about 6 months ago. I have made about 5 lenses. I see real opportunity to make money with these lenses because they are free to make, and they build in the adsense and affiliate links n what not. I havnt really got any views on my lenses though, but I havnt promoted them at all either. Im just wondering is there anyone out there making some decent money (and how much) with this site to kind of shed some light on me to see if I should keep with this site or not. Thanks
I've been making $30 or so each month. I know others that are making a lot more. Squidoo can definitely be worth it if you have a few extra minutes to make good lenses and promote them well.
Squidoo is really great, Buffalo helped me on how to get started with it and how it works, I had got some $14 on the first month, I never worked on those lenses.. I have promoted my squidoo lenses a lot this time, they are getting good traffic and clicks, I am expecting some thing in $xxx till next month
I have made $2 in my first 2 months with low traffic - this month one of my lenses has dominated rankings in Yahoo for a few niche keywords and gets about 70 uniques a day currently, so I am expecting about $10 this month from that one lens
It is possible to make pretty good money with Squidoo. There are people who stay at home and just use Squidoo money as a supplemental income. The trick is finding a good niche and then making a lens that will show up in searches for that niche. You can make a little money based on lens performance on Squidoo but to make good money you need to have people buy stuff through affiliate links on your lens. If nobody buys anything from the affiliate links then the most you can get for a top ranking lens is between $7 and $9 per month.
Any sale that was generated buy clicking through an affiliate link on your lens will make you a small commission.
In the squidoo faq, they had written that adsense click gives us 50% royalty of the click rate and also the amazon sales, the amount which I earned first was from adsense itself , I think
the time which you will give to squidoo can be given to your own website and resultantly you can keep the complete share. I will always prefer to work on my site. If I have the capability to promote my page on some other site then I do have the capability to promote my page on my own site thus using the coming traffic to promote the rest of my website pages!
The beauty of Squidoo is they pay me to promote my ow sites. I have several lenses that promote my sites and bring some good targeted traffic to my sites every month.
I have had a lens on The Dark Knight, It gets 500-1000 Views daily, Even I don't know where they are coming from
