I was checking this program out. It seems legit, but it would be nice to hear from someone who has used it.

    Thanks!

I know Jessica the manager and have seen LOTS of positive posts from affiliates about the program. It's considered one of the top travel programs out there. I've seen their newsletters and they have big affiliates making 100K a month.

Their brands, especially the hotel ones, are very well respected in the hospitality industry.

ian's paid travel script doesn't cobrand the site very well but gains traffic from it instead of your benefit it's their benefit imho

thanks for posting. This program looks really interesting. I'll have to consider this. Those who are currently in this program, would you be kind enough to share your average earnings/mo.?

    thanks.

We use IAN and scores a couple of bookings / week. Earnings/month gotta be the least interesting information ever. You get 50% of what IAN.com gets from the hotels as I understand it.

We havn't heard much from their customer support (the bookings are automaticlly generated as far as I gather). I would like to know if anyone here has recieved any payment and how long it generally takes from a confirmed booking -> pay cheque.

So far I had it for 2 months, and I have made no sales. I have no idea why, I get about 60 targeted visits per-day, but no sale.

Hmm interesting site, does anyone else have any feed back on potential sales? shahab6 mentioned no sales after roughly 3600 visitors (60 hits * 60 days). Not good yet but I have worse performing sites that still generated some money.

What is the average sale price and how what percentage does the affiliate take home?

I have heard only good things about IAN. Don't forget that it's a global player...

Hotel bookings are hard (ofcourse). You need to be in the right niche. We have targeted sites per city and subpages for every hotel (from their database). We only send a visitor to IAN.com when they decided to book something. Their interface is fugly. It's still below 1% visits -> confirmed bookings. If someone would verify they got paid I'd say they're great if used correctly.

I gave IAN a try before with a few domains that had traffic, but did little to market it.

I didn't get any booking visitors.

Had one site using there backend, was able to get a PR off of it, but then moved it to a ticket site and have been doing much better.

I use WCTravel.com and have had better luck with it.

www.BookingFly.com and www.tripdirect.com use there backend, but I make more from AdSense then the travel products.

I've used IAN since 2001 and have been happy with them. Combining selection & payout -they seem to compare well to others. One weakness is airplane tix, their prices are'nt great...but airline tickets pay squat anyway.

The have all kinds of prices, depends what they get, they give you 50% of all sales. Which is very good, when you consider some of the packages are over $1000, but so far still no sale. Even through my visitor rate has increase.

i tried them once with targetted traffic from google adwords but the conversion rate was less than 0.2 % ( 1 booking per 500 unique visitors). that was not profitable at all.

I'm considering them now, comparing to what others offer, plus wctravel and www.rez-solutions.com (anyone have experience with them?). Wanting to focus on private label ones that have deep linking for US and London.

Don't waste your time on this, the conversion rate is low, and the commision they give is low too, its 2% on vocation package, $5 per-booking for flight 5% for hotels. And 1.2% for cruise.
Let just say I had over 800 targeted visitors and I sold a $2800 vacation package and I got $54on it. I was hoping at least few $100 on it. Not just 2 percent.
