Since I have a T-mo Wing (pda smartphone) I'd go with a bt version. Timmy give us a better review on how that is working out. how big is the screen? can I operate it while driving? does the sound come through the phone?

3 pieces of MD merch and a restraining order ;)
you'd better not Blink182, otherwise you might get lost!
    (psst, Blink182 is a band ;)
it works great when my Palm sees the BT!! right now either my BT GPS or my Palm is FUBAR

The screen is fine and the navigation is good. Not a phone though, mine is a straight Palm...

Cylon, you're a smart guy, how would I test to see if my Palm's BT feature is functioning properly? It does not see the BT GPS nor have I been able to communicate with my BT on my LT???

Nothing says I love you like a restraining order.

Does your LT BT work with other devices? If it does then you know that is working fine, therefore the problem must be with your P. Check this conclusion by connecting your P to a different BT device. You could go to the store where you bought the devices and they will have something there you can test it on if you don't have something in your home. Another bonus of doing that is you can return it since you are at the store. You could also attempt to BT the GPS to another device and see if that works.

    So do three tests,

    1. Connect LT to a different BT (not LT and not GPS)
    2. Connect P to different BT
    3. Connect GPS to a different BT

depending on which of those tests fails you will have your error. If more than one fails then the tests narrowed down the possible problems.

I just bought one for GeoCaching with some kids. I bought a Garmin Venture HC, which was one of the basic models recommended by people on geocaching.com.
