Does anyone have a list of directories that accept instantly?

Rather than having to wait weeks and months for approval.

 

I imagine there are not very many of these. I have come across one or two. It is very hard to maintain any sense of quality when you have this. I do know of a lot of directories with fast approvals, though.

 

i agree... the moment you have instant approvals, all the 'family-unfriendly' and 'spam' sites will have a swell day submitting...

Personally I wouldn't want my site listed somewhere with absolutely no approval process. It will quickly turn into a link farm (if it hasn't already)

That's correct yfs1. That's why although my directory is automated and lists websites immediately, it does have procedures in place to ensure it doesn't turn into a link farm or doesn't get SPAMmed. These include quite a few checks on the listing details as well as automatic email verification before the listing goes live. Plus, I receive notifications for each submission and I go through them once they have been submitted. I have received close to 750 submissions so far but only 580 or so appear in the directory. This is because the rest have been "deleted and notified" or "banned and notified". But, I think I can certainly do a better job with the listings this way then having users wait for days or months to have their listings approved.

I have submitted many sites to this so called directory and I am still waiting for my sites to get approved. I have just not bothered with it anymore and don't even submit to it as it is a waste of time.

4 years and counting now when I submitted my first site that is still awaiting approvel.

why is it so hard to check it and let it threw if its only 1 site?
We get the job done and we sure arent a link farm we check over 100 or more daily....

depends on how many submissions you get Malcolm. 100 is nothing. I see more than 1000 most days, and when it's more its usually a lot more. Anyone that's had a bad day from the auto-submitters knows what I am talking about. I can wipe out 500 in 1 hit, and the queue is still clogged.

Well silencer im hoping your list changes that, would be nice to get traffic like that but as you know im newer and we are also a link exchange so a bit more is needed to submit to mine. Is that what was talked about on that one thread 2 weeks ago the difference between manual and automatic correct?
