Well, the thing about double opt-in is that they have opted in to get email from the specific person whose list they opted into. However, there are a few places where you can get lists through something called co-registration. I hesitate to recommend that though -- my own experience with that has been less than satisfactory. In fact, those lists were so unresponsive that I was wondering if anyone was really there. The best lists are the ones that you build yourself, with content you create (articles and blog etc.) that inspires them to want to be on your list because they like your content. Sure, it may take some work and time, but the results are FAR better than those random lists. And once you have a list, even a small one, you can leverage that list by doing mail swaps, i.e., you put other people's offers into your autoresponder, and other people put your offer into theirs. Probably not what you wanted to hear, but it really is the best way to build a list. Elisabeth
I agree with SEOwriterplus. It's always best to build your own mailing list. Trust me, its not hard to build an highly targeted mailing list.

It is definitely true that the best email list you can get is one that you generate yourself. By generating the list yourself, you ensure that the subscribers to your list are actually interested in YOUR content. Thiswould not be the case if you did coregistration or tried to buy a list.
I tried JVing but didn't make that much. When I made my own email list, which took about 3-4 weeks, I was already making a consistent daily income. Start with cheap ppc or something.
