Say you already had a site with static HTML pages that you created and you added a blog CMS system to it with the look and feel of your existing HTML pages. I have seen so many blogs out there that look exactly the same. Same type layout. I was wondering if anyone has a blog type CMS system integragated into thier existing website and what Blog system did you use?

    Thanks :)

I am looking for something that will allow to assigned people to log in and create/update thier unique page into my existing website. Pretty much looking for a very simple front end but powerful backend.

Im not talking about a CMS/Blog to create a website, I am looking for something to plug in to my existing site and layout

Why not modify a CMS to look and feel like your current site? With what your talking about though, you could program something probably a lot easier than customizing a CMS.

I have done this for clients, the rest of the site is usually made up of a header and a footer for the template and then I setup a blog that then can use the header and footer template from the rest of the site. Often the blog template just needs to be stripped down and have the content that you want to display.

It can work well, and does not take a lot of time.

The problem is, I don't have any programing skills whatsoever. I know HTML and very little .php and thats about it :)

I had this done for me at my blog
and the Wordpress theme has been modified to resemble the site

It is still a little messy, but its getting there.

You should be able to find someone at Renta Coder or similar.

Cant post and example as i only just joined, but message me if u like

Thanks Guys :) I decided to go with Drupal and strip it down pretty good. It gonna take a little time but I am pretty sure I will get the results I am looking for.
