Chances are Barry Bonds will be breaking the homerun record within the next couple of days. Does anybody really care? It seems like most people are resigned to the fact that he cheated to get to this point, and even top baseball execs are cautious about the whole situation. I mean, what does it say when the commisioner of baseball won't confirm that he'll even acknowledge Barry when he breaks the record?? I mean, he'll be at the game I'm sure, but no one's certain what his reaction will be.
Baseball is so boring...Oh well, he can get the record...good deal...lots of $$$ Wait ... I think crickett is even worse and more boring...
I agree with Codythebest. I'm 99% sure this belongs in the Entertainment section. Otherwise I'd know who Barry Bond is
Normally I'd care, but Bonds really is nothing special. Don't care much for anythign he accomplishes, certainly doesn't deserve the record he's gonna get.
should i ask this question "who is he?" so it hink it would answer the question do i mind him or not.
I'm a baseball fan and even I don't care about this. Bonds definitely cheated, but only time will tell how he will be judged. To be fair, Pac Bell/AT&T Park is not a great home run park for lefties. The gap in right-center is ridiculously deep, and that's where a lot of Bonds' home runs went. He should not have cheated, but he did face a disadvantage that many other hitters did not have to face.
I could care less. To me, Bonds is a cheater and does not deserve to be in the same category as some as the greats like Hank Aaron and Babe Ruth. I hope when he breaks it, the whole crowd stands up and boos.
