do people buy/sell sites along with the keywords and ad text used for that particular site?

I imagine people would do this, and if so. How do you guage the buy/sell price?

I have heard of people doing this, but I wouldn't know how to price it. I suppose if it is a campaign on autopilot and you could prove stable revenue for x months, you could base the price off of that.

It's usually a pain to do that if you are running campaigns for other sites but then again it depends on the sales price of the website to.

yes.. I would sell the site, plus the keywords and ad text used. Not the actual adword account though.

For instance. I have something earning me about 10 - 20 bucks profit per day. Ad spend is about 5 - 10 bucks. If after 6 more months If I can't figure out a way to boost this, I would be inclined to try and sell it all off to someone who could do better.

    Hope that makes more sense.

The only downside is that giving away your keywords and ad copy doesn't necessarily mean the same results can be achieved by the person receiving that info. You have a bit of history with them.

I would just let that sucker go on autopilot and build 10 more just like it in related areas...(10 x $20 is $200 per day, $6,000 per month). That would be more then you'd sell it for?

    :)
