Of course, I am getting 100 unique visitors daily from my twitter accounts. Thanks to twitter, it made it happen.
Definitely twitter is very helpful social networking site to increase the traffic but maximally it depends upon your content quality, how it is effective or how many persons are follow you?
to turn twitter into a goldmine, you must have many followers as first step. the most thing u need is TIME and TIME. twitter have limitation in the tweets per day and the following ratio. need much time to build a good account and then bring traffic with your links.
When the real time search is introduced by the search engines like google & yahoo people are using twitter frequently and you can really get a lots of traffic from twitter.
I'm really getting quite some traffic to my german blog for twitter but it takes a lot of time and google is still bringing way more but the quality of the twitter traffic is better, means more clicks and comments for me
Twitter has been helpful for me .... You just need to be active over there, talk to people, and this way, your influence increases ....
Is Twitter and Facebook a good place for business owners advertising or just PPC and Impression Ad marketing?
I write a decent mix of valuable information, RTs, @replies, and links to my blog posts. I have built up a *decent* following of around 800 and I get around 10 a day on average from what I talk about. I don't actually Tweet that much though, and some of the followers are probably spam stuff anyways. I have heard of people getting GREAT results from Twitter. It depends. I think that you can get some of the most TARGETED visits from Twitter though, if done right. There is certainly a difference!
I have a mix of friends, people who follow my blog, and some people who just follow my Tweets. I create various lists of my own to see tweets on various topics and reply to them. I build relationships with people who are interested in the same things I am by replying to their tweets if they interest me. I think of Twitter as a big networking event. It's all about meeting new people and talking, sharing value, etc. Btw you can see my twitter at: twitter.com/colbycheeze
One of the things I've got going on is a wordpress plug that syncs your blog posts with twitter, so whenever you post a blog, it'll send a tinyurl or full url to your blog, syndication is super important when it comes to utilizing twitter properly IMO. Same for Facebook.
Yes twitter drives traffic...It doesnt mean that twitter will drive the whole traffic..It is one of the step which we all does for social media optimization.. So naturally visits of 3-10 within a 1000 followers means yes twitter matters!!! Give value for every networking site and the total process...Ultimately the traffic matters for better ranking in search engines.. And the traffic guides All to get maximum business...Either through search engines or through refering sites!!------->Business matters!!!
traffic from twitter depends to how much your followers are and if they're of common interest followers.
It depends all on you, if you tweet often and advertise your twitter account, you get a lot of traffic, if not, vice versa.
Twitter sends a lot of traffic my way. I follow a simple formula: 1. Add targeted users with tools like Twadder 2. Post relevant content 3. Mix in a few of my own links And when I do post links to my own stuff, people visit it and retweet it because I'm trusted, and they're interested in the same things I am. After a while the traffic really builds up nicely.
