does anybody use searchalot these days

I can remember in the early 1990s i used searchalot and the caption was we searchalot so you dont have to. Now google has taken over does anyone actually use searchalot anymore

 

Just used it, wa quite quick - results look similar to google - does it merge all the results together? what does it give most weight to ?

 

i am not sure have not used it for a few years i will give it a go for old times sake

 

Since most default browser is google and yahoo only few uses other search engines not much value

I don't know what's happening but it is not working for me.
Sends me the error Connection Timeout.

 

Is that site even alive? Searchalot is way too vintage. I was in high school the last time I used it.

 

No, mainly people having toolbars, use searchalot. Mostly many people, don't have any idea of this type search engines.

 

well for now google rule on every other search engine, when i just got connected to the internet i used all kind of engines
but google so simple and just more useful then others
