    It figures :p

Non mandatory books like storybooks, informative books etc.

Although many students i have seen, rarely read their textbooks.

I just read a pretty good book called 'The Sovereign Individual' by Lord Reese Mogg about the Information Age. It was really interesting.

Though I am still a student, I hate to read books. I think that in this day it is a lot more common for the younger generation to get their information from electronic sources, e-books, WWW, etc...

I hate writing papers that require at least 1 paper book source, because it requires me to find a book that I know I won't read, skim it to find quotes, and jot down fake information. I just find information easier to absorb and understand on the internet, and I'll probably be like that for the rest of my life.

As for reading novels or things just for fun, not on my life.

nice thread. seems a lot of people nowadays don't spend much time anymore reading "real" books because of technology and that's sad because nothing could replace the feeling of holding a book and leafing through its pages, spending hours and hours enjoying its content.

I have a collection of my own, 98% are self-help or psychology books. whenever possible I buy one when I am at a bookstore (usually after reading for hours at a corner :p). We have 2 separate mini-libraries in our house actually, one housing religious or God-related materials.

I also love magazines if that's a needed info.
