    I only do personal site that I am interested in, If you are not interested in a site you won’t know any good info about the subject and it will just have weak content.

    Plus if you are not interested in it the site will turn into a chore to work on it, if you find it interesting it can be fun to work on.

    Yeah i actually have a website that although it generates a little adsense revenue, im actually interested in what the site is about.

    Its the only site with sitelinks too, out of the ones that i have.

    Is there any other kind of website to run? You can open a website that you enjoy making the content for, and make money off of it.

    My opinion - the people that open sites "just to make money" usually close their site within a year. Its a short term project they opened on a whelm or with very little thought.

    Sure - I have websites I enjoy. They just happen to make money. The key is to find a website you love and can make money. Then you'll love what you do and do what you love.

    You need to have the passion to continue building content for your site and marketing your site. It's a lot of work, so without passion you can't continue.

    The vast majority of people making good money online in the internet marketing industry have products taht they are interested in. Those that don't and are still making money generally just enjoy the internet marketing type work. I think if you have both of those qualities, you're more likely to succeed.

    Before getting into internet marketing I thought that all the anime sites were made by fans. Now I realise a lot of them are just commerical.

    First of all I LOVE everything about web hosting.

    Secondly I have a skateboarding video site that doesn't make any money but it's my passion and a site even I can get stuck on for hours :)

    Its much better running sites that your interested in as if you have more expertise in that area you'll do well and be more motivated to work hard.
