Hello DP'ers! For some reason the slider on the homepage of this site http://www.beachcomberpa.com/ is being duplicated, hoping someone could help me in finding a solution? Thanks!
Not sure what you mean by "Slider being duplicated" -- do you mean the scrollbar? (if so, not happening here) -- though that page is horrifically broken here with illegible black text overlapping the dark images, text obviously not where it should be, images just slapped in the page any old way... It looks like "but I can do it in photoshop" design garbage that was then coded by someone who doesn't know enough HTML or CSS to be coding anything. Of course that it's turdpress with a dozen junk plugins thrown at it, this is hardly a surprise... what with the tranny document, endless pointless scripting for nothing (to the tune of half a megabyte in twenty files!), static scripting inlined in the markup, endless pointless DIV for nothing, endless pointless classes for nothing, 168k of CSS in 13 files for what probably shouldn't even be 13k in one file, 20k of markup doing 5 to 8k's job, etc, etc... Yet another case where the site is such a train wreck, it would be faster to throw it completely away and start over from scratch than it would to even TRY and salvage what's already there. Just another laundry list of how not to build a website.
This is jquary issue. for this you needs to be ask who develop your website or give me admin user/pass and ftp to resolve.
