Sometimes when you are on google and you type something into the search bar a website will come up with its own independant search bar in its description? Does anyone know how to achieve this?
For example if you go onto google itself then type in argos for example within the description of what the argos website is they also have a search box for searching within the argos site before you even enter it
I don't get it For me nothing happens when I type "argos" .. Do you use Google Instant Search? Maybe you should show us a screenshot
They put codes in their website to do that. When users visit your site from google, you can trace what keywords they typed in by checking the HTTP_REFERRER they sent. (e.g. in php $_SERVER[HTTP_REFERRER]);
I think he means this. Go on google and search "Youtube" then there will be a search bar. They do it just for bit sites.
I was wondering the same too.. Do you mean by "they", google? and that they do it for big sites ?? Or like the post above says you have place in some codes for it to show in the description ..
Hey guys..he means the suggestions that come before we complete typing..I think it is developed using AJAX to pull data from the popular searches you already have in database
