Does anybody know how to change a .blogspot name to a regular .com

For example, i need to change fish.blogspot.com to just fish.com.

Yes. Buy a new domain.

 

It's very easy. Go here in Blogger: Settings->Publishing->Switch to .com

 

i have a domain, but everytime i try and change it to that name, it says that the domain name is already being used.....

Step are following convert (dot)blogsopt domain into (dot)com

Step I

You Create Canonical Name

Step II

Then Create Record In DNS (Domain Name System)

Step III

Go here in Blogger(dot)com Settings.

Step IV

Click on Publishing

Step V

Then Switch to (dot)Com domain.

I too tried my best to switch to a custom .com domain instead of .blogspot but i didn't found any change even after 24 hours & then later i again switched back to .blogspot extension... I successfully installed all DNS settings like CNAME records, etc as blogger help page instructed.

I think, the best way to add a custom .com domain extension at blogspot is by buying domain through blogger itself.

I later asked my registrar to redirect my blog mackgon.com to mackgon.blogspot.com .. i think, it's the best solution for blogspot user..

 

Simple. Just buy a domain and then route with this options
