Does anybody here use Myspace?

 

They claim to have more traffic than Google, so I would bet a lot of people here do have pages there!

 

I thought anybody who was on the web used it at least a little. Seems that way to me sometimes. They get a LOT of traffic

 

Yes, I have a myspace account, but I use it as a promotional tool.

There are quite a few people here who use it, including me. And I do get some traffic without even doing anything. If you have an entertainment related site, it's a great place to advertise. It's really an awesome system coming to think of it. Blog/chat/forum and everything, people search ... all you need in one basically.

i have an account but i dont use it i just made it long time ago

but i dont use it its just a hassle trying to customize it and the design is just horrible, they seriously need a facelift. but the idea behind it is great though no wonder its like one of the most popular sites

 

I have never used myspace and I never will. I hate myspace and the emo junk that goes alot with it. I wish myspace would just go away already.

Depends on what you consider good traffic.

 

I never heard of myspace until the news media started talking about the way child molesters used it to find victims.

So, I have never used it. My two sons have never used it. My wife does not use it. In fact, I do not know anyone who uses it.

Needless to say, I was surprised to hear them say they get more traffic than Google. But, as most here know there are lots of different ways to report traffic. So, I have no idea if MySpace is comparing oranges to oranges or apples.

I wished MySpace had been around when I was 13, I remember being bored and not knowing what to do with myself. Kids have it good these days But yes, it's also very dangerous. In society, child molesters can't just walk into teenage parties and come on to them. On the web it's possible. I do believe that the law enforcement gets smarter finding the ones who prey on kids though. But still, it's a good idea not to let your kids join before seriously feeling comfortable with them being educated about the dangers that are out there.

 

Myspace is unreliable so I am sure it was their end.

What I don't get is the popularity of facebook. MySpace is not very reliable tech wise, but it's still cool
