Does anybody here play EVE?

I've been on a huge sci-fi kick lately, especially with gaming. I got really into Star Wars Galaxies, but it's future is really up in the air with their license from Lucas Arts about to expire, so I jumped ship before I got too into it.

A few days ago I signed up for EVE...and all I can say it that it's one of the best games (not just MMO's, I'm talking out of every game I've ever played) ever made.

    Why I love it:
    • It's the only MMO that encourages players to rip each other off, commit acts of piracy, and scam other players.
    • It's a very complex skill system that you have to plan out.
    • It's the only MMO where somebody who's only been playing a few days could easily take out somebody who's been playing for a year. Combat completely comes down to your skills and cunning - the ship you fly really doesn't matter as long as you know how to use it well.
    • The graphics are absolutely amazing. I don't have a super high end machine, but I am running a GeForce card (which isn't top of the line by far) and I can't believe how amazing the game looks.
    • The music really rocks
    • The complexity and learning and game mechanics basically make it impossible for an ebay'er to do anything in the game.
    • You actually suffer a real loss when you die...which can really hurt if you've spend month putting together you ship, only to have it taken away from you after a few minutes of combat. You have to be very picky about whether to fight or flight when your ship really is on the line and won't respawn with you when you die.

    What I hate
    • The cost....$19.99/month as opposed to $14.99 that you can expect from most other MMO's
