Some very good recommendations here. When choosing where to post, take note of both the PR rank of that site and the alexa ranking. No point posting on sites that are low traffic and low rank.
why you just want list of forums and blogs ? You can find huge list of forums and blog on forums with no order , always try to search forums and blogs via Search engines with your desired Niche
Personally I think it's best to try and search for forums and blogs that are on topic for the site you're trying to promote. Google likes relevancy, and links coming from a site or forum in the same subject area as your site will work better.
