I do this. I like it because you can begin to wakeup, and silently fall to sleep and wake up again later. It isn't as sudden as just waking up all at once, so it is very useful to me. You feel much more rested, for some reason, when you wake up the second time.
I calculate the latest possible minute that I can sleep to. I set the alarm for that time and get up as soon as the alarm goes off. I hate waking up before I have to.
I like waking up and still resting for a good 30 minutes at least. I dunno anyone else that does this either. I hate the sudden wake up.
I have my alarm clock set to maximum volume and set 2 hours before i have to wake up.. I dont actually hit snooze until its gone off for about an hour.. I need something that can like slap me in the face or something.. Sick of waking up with a headache lol. But for some reason i will wake up super early on the weekends which pisses me off cuz i need my beauty sleep ^_^ A can of monster and im good for a little while.
