Analytics for traffic and a range of other behavioral related matters and, well, I am guessing you don't have cpanel installed?

Google Analytics is by far the best option for this, just google "Webmaster Tools" and it will come up.

Google analytics is probably the best as mentioned above. Someone mentioned Statcounter and I would have to 2nd that. I am pretty biased towards it as I have been using it for years!

G.A and statcounter. Plus your hosting might provide this option (depending on your hosting)

You can also always install scripts to your server.

I use Deep Log Analyzer and Google Analytics. Most guys are happy with Analytics alone. Easy to sign up and it's free.

+1 for google analytics. Probably the best one. I have 20+ sites setup.. you get a lot of good data to monitor.

You can use a good tool or analytics package to measure your websites traffic. Most of analytics tools are free these days. Google analytics is one. FoxMetrics is another one that I know of. GetClicky.com is another one.

What if the sites are hosted by different web host? How can you check all these sites in just one place when they are all hosted by different web hosts?

    Nabeel C:
just add the the Google Analytics code to each one of your sites,
you can monitor all your sites from a single analytics account.

In this situation,I'm afraid you have to check every one respectively.Google analytics is pretty good.Have a try.
Or ask the hosting provider, maybe they have installed such software, then you only need to make it enable by
    yourself.

Google analytics is a free option, keep in mind that it gives Google information about conversions you may not want them to have though...

Google Analytics, StatCounter it's all code, it will monitor whatever site you put it on. It doesn't matter what hosting you have. You can have 2 sites at Hostgator and 3 at Godaddy. As long as you install the code right it will monitor the sites all from the same account.

What if it is .edu and .gov and .org can that be take from you also? This I didn't quite understand but you can use it on these sites also as long as you are the webmaster and can actually edit and or install the code yourself.:)
