    Hey guys,

I was wondering if Android Android (preferably 2.2 or higher) supports Flash applications. I've tried googling this question, but couldn't find my ander. As far as I know only Java and c++ are supported. Is it possible (without converting!) to use Flash to make Android applications?

    Thanks!

Android has flash support - *.swf extension. Flash applications with *.exe I don't know if are supported.

Yes Flash is fully supported especially in 2.2, flash is also a lot smother now. Instead of making the application out of flash (which won't work) you can direct it to use the browser to open the website that would contain your flash. But there are a lot of new tools that google has developed to easily create android apps.

Yes, Flash Player and AIR both are supported in Android.

"We’ve been hearing a lot of rumors lately that Google intends on releasing Android version 2.3, aka Gingerbread, sometime this week… but a recent update to Adobe Flash Player 10.1 and Adobe Air might confirm the fact that Gingerbread will be dropping imminently.

If you downloaded the last update to Adobe Flash Player 10.1 and Adobe Air, check out the release notes: the description says that the update is dropping specifically to prepare Android devices for the future arrival of a future version of Android OS. The updates to Flash Player and Air are versions 10.1.105.6 and 2.5.1, respectively.:
