Does American Idol produce world class singers??

I totally agree with this guy...
American Idol has given the world class singers........

 

I think compared to many other so called popular singers, yes the American Idol winners that have moved on are very good singers. Many of today's top singers are not that good of singers but purely "artists", not that great of singers, but their marketing and glitz have made them very popular.

 

it is not compulsory to have so but it have probability to do so .main thing is the people have the platform to do so.

I think the singer since aren't given a constant and long term support they just get lost somewhere down the lane .

 

I think , they will surely . Because its a great platform for those, who having talent of singing and to perform something.

Yes but not all. These kind of "talent show contests" just boils down to being a popularity contest.

 

Depends on what you mean by world class. I haven't seen one yet that has made it to the level of the big singers.
