Does American Idol produce world class singers??

    One of the most popular TV reality show in the world is the American Idol..but guys do you think that American Idol has been able to produce real world class singers???
    The first season winner was Kelly Brianne Clarkson, she has been able to put a good performance till now..
    Kelly Clarkson – Naked Eye
    Kelly Clarkson – Walk Away
    but the following season winners weren't that impressive..
    What are your comments on this guys???

    The British equivalent (The X Factor) does not they get two 2 hits then you never hear from them again and its going in america this year (or next i don't care about it enough to check.)

    ya..they do create new singers..but not world class singers..they come and they are lost in the crowd..

    I completely agree with this, I absolutely love his voice and style of music. :)

    My opinion on American Idol is that the show has brought great singers to fame. However, I feel most who don't actually win the competition turn out to be more successful in what they do and have a better career than ones that do win. Here's a list of some of the American Idol contestants I like: Kelly Clarkson, Jordin Sparks, Kris Allen, David Cook, Chris Daughtry, Adam Lambert, Elliot Yamin, Carrie Underwood, Bo Bice, David Archuleta.
    This season, the two finalists were my favorite but I'm rooting for Lee DeWyze. What about you guys? :) Who's your top pick?

    no i dont think so because in india its self more 20 language were spoken so it is not possible to implemnt new singer
