Does AmazonAWS bot have anything to do with affiliates?

    I am wondering if I can safely block these bots without issue
    from amazon since I am an affiliate. I know people use amazon cloud
    and use amazon in a non moral way to scrape content from sites...

    ie:
    Hostname: ec2-52-20-6-114.compute-1.amazonaws.com

    However, if amazon were to check up on a site, then I have
    no clue is this is something they would use, or something else...

    I am getting hit quite a bit with these bots...

    any ideas?

    Amazon AWS is the cloud computing service offered by amazon. Probably there is someone who rents hosting or computing services from them and runs a bot.
