does amazon.com books ship in india ?

    well i just wanted to know if anyone in India ordered and received a book from amazon.com successfully.
    i need one which is not available in mumbai locally, please help thanks

    yes they do ship,one of my frend got it.However their shipping fee is bit high.

    i have never tried to ship anything from amazon, but then perhaps your experience will help me ship a few aswell!:)

    Yes they ship to india , Shipping fee is around 11$ i guess..

    I got a 50$ amazon GC i got in return for my VCC , so i have to use it soon.. But fees is kicking me , its just too high! , it is more than 75% of the price of the product :D

    Yes they do, but it is your responsibility to clear it, if it is stuck at immigration. If it is a book, there should not be any issues.
    You can sell of the Amazon GC here, I believe unless it is against DP TOS ( not very sure).
