you can't but you can ask a firend to order for you even a family member can order to the same adress as yours.
I'm surprised they don't have strict rules against that. A lot of black hat strategies could occur in that area.
Yes you can buy through your affiliate link, and it is likely to happen accidentally if you are testing links etc. All they do is scrub off the commission if they detect it... and they always do They won't punish you in any way because it could be an accident.
Did you read this thread before posting. They do have rules against it: Nope. They do scrub the commission, but they have booted people for doing it.
Amazon sent a letter last year to it's affiliates strictly prohibiting buying through your own affiliate links. So the answer is No. It is not OK.
