Does Alexa Rank Impact PR

it will not affect in google.But I think it affects in Yahoo a bit.Because Alexa rank improves with lot of time.

Alexa is a traffic site which compare sites traffic. Alexa is its rankings are based on users who have installed the Alexa toolbar onto their browser. If you do not have the toolbar running, you do not affect the rankings of the sites you visit. The next big problem with Alexa is it is very easy to cheat the system. Just get a few friends to install the toolbar and have them surf your site everyday.

Anyone can buy a $2 program from ebay, run it on his computer and get a good Alexa rank, that is if they really care.

Like other have said, I believe alexa only monitors your traffic. I do not think it has an impact on your ranking. I believe only the traffic does. Alexa is a tool used to monitor your traffic and see how many page views you get.
