Does adwords start immediately ?

I launched my first campaign yesterday and i was wondering how much time will take until your ad starts showing.
Already passed 24 hours and my ad is not listed yet.

Sometimes it takes a couple of hours to half a way. In many cases, Adwords editorial persons have to review your ads.

 

Your ad should start appearing within 10 - 15 minutes. You may not be getting impressions because maybe your ad has a low positioning. If your ad position is around 50, you will rarely get impressions.

 

no, sometimes it even take weeks or month until your ad is shown (depend of cause of the price you are willing to pay). be patient and try different ads or different urls.

 

I have the same problem: setuped ads 2 days ago - I still see no impressions or activity. I increased the bid now and hope it will start ...

I had the same thing, where my ads did not start showing up for two weeks.

 

same problem here, i start my compaign 3 hours ago, and bid maximum amount for search and contents, but no click, no impression...
is there any body who can guide what should to do next,
i have put 9 or 10 keywords, should i have to put more realtive keyword, how many keywords?
