I was wondering if Google AdWords have any affect on serps ranking. I see some of my keyword ranking dropped when I stopped AdWords advertising.

Adwords is useful in serp rankings.
    I am sure about it.

I had a website which used to rank 21st for a keyword when i was using adwords.
After i stopped adwords campaign i am nowhere found for that particular keyword.

i have a site rank number 4 for it's main keyword on yahoo and getting 200 uniques a day from yahoo, just from a adwords campaign, I have no other links pointing to that site except adwords.

So either yahoo just naturally likes that website, or they are counting the adwords as links.

The site does not rank on google or msn though, or atleast i get no traffic from it in my logs.

I don't do much ppc advertising so this is the only site I can discuss about, but it ranks on yahoo so all I can say.

You could try getting a decent domain, for a low quality term, and pointing some cheap adwords at it, see what happens.

I don't think doing PPC Campaign can affect the organic SERP. It might be possible that website's Click through is high when you do PPC, so that might help you in Organic Results.

    Just my 2 cents though!
