Does Adwords boost PR?

    I was speaking to a friend of mine and this subject came up; Would a keyword rich Google Adword text link boost or have any positive effect on the PR of our site?:confused:

    LOL, if adwords started boosting PR, people will rather buy listings for PR then for gaining traffic.

    I have ehard roumers if you give a certain daily budget in adwords you get PR10!!! :p
