Does adsense useful when no traffic?

    When for a new site with all keywords positioning not in first 100 in serps and no traffic, does adsense can still get you any money?

    no traffic = ZERO cents!!
    a site only is of any value with lots of generic traffic
    for good traffic a top 10 SERPS is a must for every single page.
    anything less is a waste of time and money.

    if you want to decorate your site with adsense ads, then yes its useful. but if you want to make money with it, then you will need traffic

    Why would you think you would make money off it?
    You might be able to sell the domain name, but thats all the money you will make.
    Get traffic, and worry about the other stuff later.

    Adsense is based on clicks by visitors so no visitor means no money.

    tptnyc didn't ask that. You guys kidding? Of course no traffic is no money. Of course we do not need to underline this basic avarage information.

    tptnyc, at the beginning, before getting ranked well at google, probably won't make a lot of money but according to your content and niche, it may help you to pay your server bills. But for me, i prefer not to put ads at the begining to some of my sites to attract more visitors. And it works for me. I've tested this. I started to get a lot of direct traffic to one my site that has no google ad on it. But it's your choice.

    Also it depends your source of traffic. Traffic from search engine work better for me to earn income with adsense.
