I have a site that was created a couple of months ago and has a number of backlinks and is still not indexed by google. When I created the site I put up adsense right away.

On my second site I created, has only one backlink from a free forum and was indexed within a month.

My theory google penalizes sites for having adsense on there sites at the begining. Has anyone else noticed this.

Nah, not true in any way. Google will not penalize you for having adsense on your website.

    Some advise:
Set up a google sitemap for the website, get some quality backlinks (relevant to the topic). And your website will be indexed in couple of weeks. To gain a full index of your website get deep links to your website.

Why would google not index sites with adsense on them? You gotta think logically, from a business stand point. If anything they might index sites that DO have adsense on them faster. You gotta remember Google makes a profit from your adsense earnings aswell, so it would be stupid not to index the site.

Yeah, they'll spider it. I was the same, I had a site up for 2 months, started it with adsense, and google indexed my site.

I would definitely agree with adding a sitemap. It seems that when I did this, they indexed it quicker. Though they say this won't be the case.
