I have two sites with the same type of content and ads. One is a very established, highly ranked, heavily linked website. The other is barely a week old, has very few links, and can't rank for its own domain name. I get a click, on the same day, for the same type of content on both sites. The established site 'click' was $3.12. The click for the new site was '29 cents'. The established site gets another cick over $3. While the new site stays at '29 cents' It's the same type of content and the same type of ads. Has anyone noticed this kind of activity?
I haven't noticed that, but then, if I make another site, it's DIFFERENT than one I already have...hopefully you have SOME differences in content, and if so, then there could be differences in earnings.
I haven't detected any major disparity in click values between sites - including new sites when compared to old. There is a disparity between clicks on individual sites though. I've always put this down to the fact that the high value clicks relates to a top spot advert whereas the low value click an ad at the foot of content...
So this would be the opposite of the situation in the first post...established (older) site getting $3 click vs 29 cents. I still think it's pretty hard to compare site to site even if similar content.
