No! it doesnt matter if you use blogger or any other platform! but if you able to generate unique content with access of traffic then you could make many $$$ per day

 

your payout should not vary regardless of your chouce of host

 

It depends on your content.

If your content pulls in high paying keyword/advert, then every click through your adsense is highly paid.

Yes, you can earn from adsense using blogger. Anyway, I prefer to buy my own domains as when I build backlinks, I build them for my own sites and not for any blogger sub domain

 

for the same niche, it just seems like my domain sites do much better than my blogger sites - even though my blogs have so much more traffic.

I think, for adsense it doesn't make any difference. What matters is the quality of traffic.
