Does adsense help with traffic ?

If a site has adsense on it would that yield more traffic opposed to a site without adsense on it ?

 

I would say not necessarily. There are a lot of web sites out there that use adsense or YPN and get very little traffic.

One of the biggest mistakes web developers make is that they build these really cool sites and then they don't market them. I did this for years. And by marketing I mean SEO. Search Engine Optimization is THE key to getting your sites in front of users.

Three main things that help with SEO:

Backlinks
the Anchor Text in those backlinks
and the Quality of the sites the backlinks come from.

1.Be an Internet Entrepreneurs like Larry Page , Surgey Brin (Google) , David Filo , Jerry Yang (Yahoo) , Jeff Bezos (Amazon). or Ebay (I can't remember) All of these guys never use SEO , why ? First. at that time there isn't many good SE like this , Second. All is superb services that people already spread the word instead of advertising.
I was wondered how a few year site (maybe 1 or 2) Hotmail.com is bought by Microsoft for $400 M
But you must devote yourself on thinking an Idea and developing the site.


2.SEO , I means submit to directory , make other link to you , buy link , onpage optimize

3.Advertise You can buy banner ads on relevant site , do not submit to paid directory , it doesn't help you worth it cost from you. Or using Search Engine Marketing (Like Adwords , Yahoo! Overture SEM etc.)


4.Affiliate Marketers Nothings more than advertise other products that can made you millions of dollars per year (I heard someone selling their ebooks online says he can do ! , Or Rosalind Gardner with $400000/year) , Another point is , Make i niche site , create huge mailing list by giving them free master resell reports , ebooks , or access article or get free newsletter or free course or .......................... and selling affiliate to them by "Recommended Programs" or "Greate Ebooks , MUST READ" , If people trust you because you're giving great info. They will buy it


The Traffic Secrets Course by John Reese (Complete 6 CDs and books) , Joel comm said it is the greatest course to make traffics on your site (Don't ask me , i never use it)

You need traffic to make the money.

But you won't get more traffic from adsense.

No adsense will not really help you gain extra traffic. Adwords will but not adsense.

but one thing though.. one of my site.. after placing adsense in most of the pages... i got a 20% boost in traffic... coincidence? i m not sure...

 

Search engine Traffic is very important.

 

Why would Adsense give you an increase it traffic? It is most likely to give you a few less pageviews than what it would if you had not had the ads in the first place as people will be clicking on the ads and going away from your site.

Adsense robots are not related in anyway so that will not help you out either.

(but not all users know how to follow referer)
