i guess they do...but i was applied with the site that many people thought it wasnt allow by adsense. FYI: Its a gay dating site (vietgaydating.com). go figured
I think google has a bot that does it. It probably checks length of content and how many pages the site has, if the bot gets confused then a person checks the site. It seems menial for a person to check every site thats signs up for adsense.
Yes...obviously they do the check the website that is submitted while applying for an adsense account. How else would they be able to verify their own account approval criteria of the existence of the site to be 6 months old and not belonging to the restricted niche? Regards, RightMan
Let's put it this way. You are Google and a site wants to make money from you. Would you verify that account first or approve without thinking?
a gay related website is not a violation of adsense TOS,neither is a dating website. it's just the content that your site has, such as language and photos. if your site is clean, then there isn't a violation. yes, they do check every website that is applied with, after that they don't check unless they have a reason to. btw,who is mark?
Yup... They sure do. It's not a dumb question either. The dumbest question is one not asked. You wanted to know then you asked. Good job. Google has humans check the site. That is the information I have. This is one of the few things they let humans do over there, except get the execs coffee at Starbucks. I don't think they are homophobes. Had you been a gay porn site, you definitely would not have been approved. But gay dating is not a crime. Except in Alabama.
Yes, they check. If they dont check, then you wouldnt ask you to submit your website. I believe you saw some website did against adsense TOS but they still displaying adsense ads. This is because adsense only check on the website you first submit, and they dont check so detials other than your first website.
I think they check, impossible they look at your domain name and approve you. Perhaps you have a site name "www.hyperactive.com", we will think it's some kind like sport site but in face it's a 18sx site. So Google will not approve it, means they have actually view your site before approving you.
Right... See? That makes no ad(sense). Once you are approved you can put them wherever you please. Kind of stupid really. But Google is not THAT bright anyway. The only model that makes them money was stolen. They are not originators of anything. They buy it or steal it, but make it? Not really. They couldn't make search engines profitable so they stole the keyword idea from another company. Nice. Brilliant, but niiiiiice.
