Does adding sitemap mean more pages will be indexed?

    Yes, adding a sitemap means more of your site can be crawl by Google in a more timely fashion. This definitely improve pages to be indexed in search engines.

    If the link structure of your website is very deep, or your links are dynamic in nature, a Google sitemap will help the spider find it’s way around and get more pages indexed.

    definitely Yes, if some of your pages have problem getting indexed, then sitemap will help getting those pages indexed..

    If you interlink your page very fast it will not be an issue but if you don't then do submit a sitemap
