I've just made my first AdCenter campaign. Their panel is pretty user unfriendly, and I couldn't find any keyword price and position estimates, like Adwords or YSM have. Have I missed something or they only provide estimated number of searches, but not price/positions ?
Good Morning Almir, To locate our Estimator for bidding and placement, please follow these steps below and you will find what it is that you would like. 1. Sign into Microsoft adCenter 2. Choose your Campaign 3. Choose the adGroup 4. At the top of the Keyword List, Click ‘Edit Bids’ 5. When this loads, you can enter in the base bid and click ‘Apply to all’ 6. When reviewing the grid holding the terms, our system will place in the bid and change any positions that may be affected by the new base bid. 7. As long as you do not click the Save, you can change the bids to see the different stats. Hope this helps! adCenterRep
You can use the API to automate certain tasks or simplify bulk tasks. The API currently offers the following functionality: * Add ad groups to or delete ad groups from a campaign. * Add keywords to or delete keywords from an ad group. * Add ads to or delete ads from an ad group. * Update ad groups, keywords, or ads. * Estimate keyword price based on position. * Retrieve performance reports
Data shown in keyword rank estimation is daily or monthly? I mean number of impressions and other statistics.
I'm really into AdCenter and the platform is my favorite out of the 3. The interface is really clean and nice. The manual approval is a pain, but I think that's gone once your qualified.
API and Auto Bid Tools such as Atlas are good (can be justified) at a higher level, IE: 10k+/mo. For the rest of us, edit bids has a "position #1" button, or edge bids for performing keywords then after 3hours monitor position on MSN or reports, and edge again until content. Keeping in mind the landscape is dynamic and the competition may wise-up with counter-bids. Also within Excel, consider the "IF" function array for other positions (after exporting adgroup keyword info). {IF((E12=$A$1:$A$428),3.75,1.25)} IE: A client who wanted near position#2 for 8000 branded keywords, I selected all keywords that were not already at position#2 ($A$1:$A$428) and listed with bids. Then applied the above formula to (best guess based on existing data) raise low bids to $1.25 to ensure higher position keywords to at least position#2 (but reduce leaving money on the table), and everything else at pre-authorized cap of $3.75, encouraging position#2 or higher. The "IF" function array would search through the keywords comparing to the range of selected keywords (not in pos#2) and plug in the appropriate bid amount, based on client criteria. It may appear to be a convoluted solution, but when a client has a request, and you have tools constraints, there may be an opportunity to be creative. Then import keywords w/new bids and a better educated guess, CTR history may not be a major concern, as will catch-up faster than the other engines, say 1-2+ weeks. Count-Zero, Good Morning. The information within the Price Estimator is based on Last Months data. So if you check half way through the month, it will not take into account any new customers bidding on these terms until the following month. Hope this Helps! adCenterRep
