does a Z in URL decreases the SEO value ??

    brandz.com

    and if someone searches for BRAND in GOOGLE then will BRANDZ get kicked out or get some preference??

    The domain name doesn't matter that much in the Google algorithm. It depends more on other on page factors and the anchor text of the links back to your page.
