I am just curious if you have a website domain name which is also your logo, does it need to have a trademark to keep it safe?

Very curious about this too. As similar/copied image can mislead people to visit other sites which will then pretty much squat on your/my/our site's reputation. Unlike word mark or trade marks; logo/image can have more universal appeal and identifiable by people internationally regardless of language= hence more powerful than (in some respects) wording/language.

This is a very curious question lingering in my mind as well.

Depends, if your logo is designed for $50 or you bought a template of it and put it there, then despite of your 'wants' to make it your own trademark thingy, you can't. Cause they are not unique, and taken from a template or designed from a template. However, if you do it yourself, and you didn't copy the design from elsewhere and finally, it is completely unique, yes then you should make it your registered trademark. :)

No, but you do have to pay for a Registered Trademark.
