One of the worst parts about submitting to directories is that they don't always notify you if/when you get accepted. Is there any tool that I could put in a list of directory URLs and it would search the directories automatically to see if my site was listed? If this doesn't exist, there's got to be a good market for it.
Probably the only interest would be from those who submit to any and every directory link farm. I imagine serious webmasters would keep track of their submissions and wouldn't be wasting their time on every link farm announced.
Hear, hear CReed. Last year I submitted AMRAY Web Directory to 11 directories only and year before that to 23 real directories and not some cesspools of crap. fastreplies
So what's wrong with using Google and site:directoryname.com yoursitename ? Of course, that presumes that the page your listing would appear on is actually indexed.
There is no such tool ever heard about and still if it is available somewhere it may ruin up your actual url by adding some tracking code in that. so, Its better to keep track of the submissions manually.
well you should get an approval link to your email address. this is how i check if my sites were approved
