Does a push at godaddy drop pagerank?

I have just bought a PR2 domain and had a push at godaddy, the site has been sat on a hosting suspended page for a while, it has only 10 links 2 of which are pr2.

Will this domain lose its PR, I want to develop it further. I bought another simmilar domain but with better keywords so I don't know whether to use this as it brand new. The pr site is 7 months old.

    What do you think?

As far as I know, a push will not drop your pagerank. That's why "old domain" is worth more than new ones.

I think eventually you will develop both websites. The questions now is prioritization, which one to do first. IMHO, if you want fast results, develop the one domain with high PR first unless the keyword for the new domain has many times more traffic and less competition in search results than the old domain.

Thanks for the reply yes the new one does have far more searches around 150,000 [exact] more. I finding it easier to develop higher traffic sites ATM with good keywords, I think I would choose that over High CPC, I don't know whether I have the confidence to try and develop a site with out the keywords in the url. Having said that alot of the top sites are branded not keyword.

Like you said I might develop both in slightly different niches :)
