Does A PR5 Blog Backlink Have The Same Weight As A PR5 Website Backlink?

    If you have a backlink on a PR5 blog, does it have the same SEO weight as a backlink on a website with PR5? I guess what I'm asking does the latest update take blogs less seriously since they're the main causes of duplicate content a bad backlinks?
