We have found that twitter link is nofollow. So link from twitter can not help in ranking. But it will give traffic for your website
This is totally true. Google seems to be taking into account (or planning to do so) the "likes" and "twits" a page has. It will understand it as a measure of the quality of a page, what makes perfect sense.
Google bots can access Twitter's backend and crawl from there. Which means it is possible to index websites just using a Twitter account. This is true until Google changes its algo. http://www.seomarketingworld.com/bl...n/can-nofollow-twitter-links-be-used-for-seo/
Agreed. Even though all twittter links are nofollow, any link is good - but it is an incredibly small value unless you have a 'real' twitter account. A nice side benefit is that a lot of sites include tweets in their websites. If your link is not shortened, that site will provide better link value to you - but still not great.
well it is better if you have a link on twitter or on other networking sites.... it counts bt not directly....
