does a link from myspace blog helps

i might be able to get a link from a pr7 myspace blog
is this worth anything by that i mean will it increase my pr
i have only a pr3 now
there is no other link from this blog now

 

Might boost you to a 5, if you get a few other good quality links.

 

This raises another question... how much is a blog link worth? I am not talking about links from the comments area but an actual text link from the blog creator?

Also are myspace links worth much or are they devalued at all by Google?

 

This is a very good question.

It is one i have been thinking about for a while whether a link on a myspace blog would make much difference to PR or serps. I have not seen any examples of any website benefitting from this but some must in some way. If anyone has any examples please let me know.

Wow.. great.. i got one PR4 myspace... just registered and got that page with PR4.. I am preparing the content on that page..

If im leaving that page for long time without any content.. will it affect the PR?
