Does a high score in YSlow worth it?

    Hi,

    I ran YSlow on my site yesterday and I was scoring 'F', the suggested changes seemed fairly straight forward enough so now I score a 'B' or a 'A', (depending on where you are on the site).
    Some of the suggested changes were plain ol' daft so I didn't do it.

    Does an 'A' suggest a good site to other SEs? Can I expect to move up the ranks of Yahoo and/or Google?

    Does Google, (or anyone else reputable), have a similar tool that I could use?
