    56k is the speed of the modem connection. It is not related to the strength of an encryption algorithm.

    So yes it will work fine!

    The issue is more whether your web browser can support it or not. I am not sure about the current regulation but in the past, high level encryption web browsers are not allowed to be distributed in some countries for security reasons.
