Friday, July 15, 2005 204 0 x x $0.00 The only thing I can say is the Page eCPM is not $0.00 I'm sure that I did not get any CPM impression that day. Awful.
If you got no clicks, then yep, it's no money, and yep, it should be eCPM $0.00!!! The eCPM just might be on some crack!!!!
You don't get paid per impressions!!! You get paid per click based on how much the advertisor pays, AND how much Google thinks the click is worth based on your site content. DON'T CLICK ADS YOURSELF, ASK OTHERS TO, OR PAY OTHERS TO!!!!! That'll give you the well known termination E-Mail. You could get 1,000 impressions and not get very many clicks, ie not make very much money! BTW, you got 204 CPM impressions that day, and NO click, hince the no money.
Not yet anyway. I've heard some rumors floating around that they might implement pay per 1000 impressions in the future. After all, it is advertising. And if you've ever used Adwords and done a search for your url in google, you might notice that your url shows up on a ton of sites, simply because it was in the Adwords banner on a bunch of different sites.
You should be able to log in to your Adsense account, click the tab for Reports >> Advanced Reports - Ad Performance. Then it should give you the option to choose a date range from a date to another date. Is this what you meant?
Google has a mix apparently.. some ads are CPM and others are CPC. Only thing I don't like, is that you cant chose.. and I don't think you get paid for clicks on the CPM ads. Therefore, very low income is made from CPM ads. Josh
